He was previously CEO of Honeywell’s Africa operations and has worked on numerous operational turnaround, restructuring and post-merger integration projects for investors and owners across multiple jurisdictions
Mark Parker

For the past 18 years, Mark has been developing and activating business and operational strategies that driving revenue improvement across multiple organisations and industries.
He has consulted and worked the span of the African continent across to the Middle East and Central Asia in the telecommunications, financial services and technology environs . Mark brings his broad understanding of multiple disciplines and sectors to bear in the business development arena of DB&A and quickly grasps the unique challenges facing business improvement initiatives for executives and articulates opportunities simply and effectively.
Johan du Toit
Chief Operating Officer
Johan has over 20 years experience in formulating strategy for, planning and driving transformations in and building continuous improvement capabilities with organizations. His work has spanned from sub-Saharan Africa to the USA and Australia, while crossing industries from Mining to Financial Services.
Johan leads DBA consulting teams in the field to co-create sustainable impact with clients. Johan is also helping deepen the firm’s delivery capability by focusing on the quality of results and the capturing of field-experience into leading-edge intellectual property for DBA.

Halvor Rosholt
Senior Advisor
After graduating from the University of Cape Town with an economics degree, Hal spent two years in the Barlow Group in the UK, before returning to South Africa to join the Rennies Group, where he was involved in their shipping and transport, travel, and trucking division. He later spent two years on secondment in Taiwan and Hong Kong with Rennies’ then parent company, Jardine, Matheson & Co, again in their ship owning and agency subsidiaries.
He returned to SA, to rejoin the Barlow Group, and for the next few years ran businesses including metal fabrication, appliance manufacturing, timber merchanting and, finally in the unbundled Nampak Group, security printing. Appointed later to run Nampak’s environmental and corporate affairs portfolios, he spent 5 years in the group head office, before striking out on his own, consulting within the tourism industry to the Hollard Group.
Dr. Andy Schmulow

Andy has been admitted to the degrees of BA Honours LLB (Witwatersrand), GDLP (cum laude) (ANU), and PhD (Melbourne). He is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, and admitted by the Supreme Court of Victoria as an Australian Legal Practitioner. In 2014 he founded Clarity Prudential Regulatory Consulting, Pty Ltd.
Andy has provided advice to the South African Treasury on their adoption of the Twin Peaks financial regulatory model, and currently serves on an independent expert panel convened by Treasury to provide advice on the Conduct of Financial Institutions (COFI) Bill.
Chris Rosholt

Since graduating with an MBA from University of Witwatersrand School of Business Chris has spent more than forty years primarily in the mining and steel related industries in South Africa, the United States, Zimbabwe, China and Japan.
He is currently assisting a significant South African engineering company re-enter the Zimbabwean market after an absence of some years.

He has extensive experience across multiple commodities including gold mining and processing, copper, PGMs, chrome , manganese, mineral sands operations and ports operations and private equity diagnostics in South Africa, Russia, Botswana and process engineering design for companies in USA, China and Kazakhstan
Steve Winfield
Senior Manager
Steve has over 17 years of industry and consulting experience. He has taught and implemented Lean Enterprise tools, techniques and philosophy, in Peru, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Botswana, UAE, South Africa and the US.
He has developed, taught and implemented Process Excellence tools in industrial and service environments. He has managed numerous consulting engagements in the mining, banking, automotive, insurance, tourism, pharmaceutical, electronics, sales and distribution, government, quasi-government, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide.
Norman Keel
Senior Manager
Norman has 10 years’ experience in operations management consulting in abroad spectrum of industries from financial services to mining.
His consulting career incorporates over 20 implementation projects with various improvement goals in mind. He previously has had lengthy work spells in the banking sector as well as in a publishing industry. Norman is now an associate with DBA.
John Mullany

John’s background combines experience in Operational Excellence, Change Management, Business & Continuous Improvement roles in multiple industries including Manufacturing, Mining / Maintenance, Supply Chain, Financial Services and FMCG, across a number of countries including New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and SADC Countries within Africa, Americas and the Middle East
His implementation experience stretches from the boardroom to the shop floor and within various cultures where he has proven instrumental in the design and delivery of exceptional business solutions, working within diverse and cross functional environments, demonstrating strong analytical skills, problem solving abilities and business acumen.
