An international manganese mine with operations in South Africa faced growing internal and external pressure to get more value from operations at a lower cost. DBA implemented it’s bespoke business improvement methodology to create a well governed in-house function with a portfolio of 17 prioritised productivity initiatives.

Established a structure with accountabilities and governance
Facilitated idea generation sessions and the development of an initiatives portfolio to value and deliver immediate productivity improvements. This also helped to provide a channel for the mining team's creative ideas and solutions to obtain resources for implementation.
